The tape titled The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare will be directed by director Guy Ritchie and will deal with spies belonging to a secret organization that fights in World War II. Its filming will begin in January and will take place in Turkey, since it seems to be a story based on real events.
The place dead line reported that on this occasion, Eiza will play a military sniper with extraordinary espionage skills, while the actor known for his performance as Superman will be the leader in charge of said secret organization.
The project was originally intended to be developed by Paramount, but so far the directors are in talks with Black Bear Entertainment for US distribution. The film will show the secret struggle of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and writer Ian Fleming, as well as the unconventional fighting techniques that helped turn the tide of war.
Based on the popular book of the same name as the film, written by war correspondent Damien Lewis, Ritchie and producer Jerry Bruckheimer will include a group of colorful characters in their project, who are believed to be similar to Inglourious Basterds by Quentin Tarantino, but its director assures that he conceives it as a franchise.
Most likely, this film will be one of the projects with the highest budget for sale during the American Film Market (AFM), a film festival that will take place next week and in which some of the the most important film companies seek to acquire the distribution rights of various projects.
