In short, at the Windsor home, they preferred to put aside the frictions of recent months; silence, moreover, would have made much more noise than a happy birthday message shared on Twitter and Instagram.
Error in which, however, Prince Charles has stumbled in part, deliberately of course, that he limited himself to wishing his daughter-in-law a happy birthday with one History published on Instagram, and reserving a more important post for the queen mother, born on the same day as the former actress.
“On this day, in 1900, Her Majesty Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, was born. The Queen Mother, Prince Charles’s grandmother, lived at Clarence House for nearly fifty years. The silver vase with rosemary that you see in the photo was given to her for her hundredth birthday, ”reads the caption accompanying the first shot. The second photo published, however, comes directly from the family album: a 1960 image depicting the Queen in the Clarence House garden with Prince Charles, her sister Anna and her brother Andrew.
The link between the sovereign, who passed away on March 30, 2002 at the age of 102, and Clarence House is undeniable, but the doubt remains that the heir to the throne Charles wanted to snub his daughter-in-law on purpose, reserving a place among the Stories Instagram and preferring her grandmother. Nothing wrong with that, of course. Meghan is no longer an active member of the royal family, not to mention the constant disagreements with Harry, many of which are due to the former actress. When it comes to important events, after all, the “royals” tend to avoid dangerous crowds, so that every appointment or event has maximum visibility. In this case a choice had to be made and everyone made their own.

Fortunately, on Twitter, Clarence House did not run into the same problem, avoiding a certain controversy. To Meghan also Carlo and Camilla have dedicated a nice post of good wishes, with all due respect to the gossip hunters. Danger escaped.
