Every time the warm season arrives, the famous scene from the film comes to mind The devil wears Prada. That is the one in which Meryl Streep, aka the director Miranda Priesley, during an editorial meeting of the magazine Runway, yet another proposal for a photo shoot with dresses from fantasy flowers, he replied with a certain sarcasm: «Floral? For spring? Pure avant-garde ».
Yes, we know that in fact it is not a truly original theme, but it is so difficult to resist, after a long winter, the call of the moda flower print, always so colorful and cheerful.
But be careful, this year we have elected, among all, a superstar flower: the margherita. It’s been a couple of seasons that it has started to take hold more and more, and we’re sure this one Spring-summer 2021 it will be a real one trend.
PER LE DAISY LOVERS
We did a bit of research and found lots of clothes and accessories that will make you fall in love. They are the queens: the daisies, printed, embroidered, hand drawn, made with beads or applied, like those of Valentino fashion show.
And among the many projects, we also found this one of Peoples Flowers, a Spanish brand based in Madrid, which celebrates it Slow Fashion and craftsmanship, but always with an eye to the latest trends. All their bags are limited edition and strictly hand-embroidered with beads that recreate tiny daisies.
And there are those who have decided to make it its distinctive sign. We are talking about the shoe designer Fabrizio Viti “The daisies have become my signature – says the designer – They are a symbol of joy and happiness, the very emotions I want to share”. Each of them daisy leather are handmade by their team of artisans in Veneto: each flower is carefully cut from three different types of the best Italian leathers, rolled and assembled to create its perfect shape.
SYMBOL OF A CHARITY PROJECT
An initiative to support and help victims of abuse: they thought about it Coin and the association Do X Well with the project The White Petal. Precisely that of the daisy of “loves me does not love me”, from which everything takes inspiration.
