The councilor of São Vicente (SP) Tiago Peretto (União Brasil), brother of the merchant murdered in August last year after a scandal involving the discovery of a love triangle, called his sister Marcelly Peretto – considered suspected of having participated in the case – of “crooked” and “dissimulated”.
The offenses were pronounced after Marcelly’s defense requested the Court to exhume Igor Peretto’s body, on the grounds that there were problems in the victim’s cadaveric report.
In a video published on his social networks, the councilor accuses Marcelly’s defense of wanting to “delay the process, causing more delay” and of “messing with the family’s feelings”.
Tiago also questioned whether the request was intended to “help find out who stabbed the first person or recount the 40 stab wounds they made” on his brother. See below:

Lawyer Leandro Weissman, who represents Marcelly Peretto, confirmed the request for exhumation, filed last Monday (13), together with the presentation of the response to the defense.
In a note, the defense argues that, “since the beginning of the investigations, it has demonstrated an interest in collaborating with justice and clarifying the facts.”
“The complaint offered by the Public Prosecutor’s Office is based on conjectures and conclusions, without presenting evidence of Marcelly’s participation in the crime. The narrative of an alleged love triangle and a prior adjustment to the commission of the homicide is not supported by the evidence in the case file”, adds the defense.
The lawyer’s note also says that “Marcelly and the victim, Igor Peretto, were brothers and maintained a relationship of friendship and trust”. “The accusation, in a frivolous way, tries to impute to Marcelly a financial interest in her brother’s death, which is not sustainable, as there is no evidence to the contrary.”

In addition to Marcelly Peretto, the following are considered suspects: Rafaela Costa, who was the victim’s wife; and Mario Vitorino da Silva (Igor’s brother-in-law).
According to investigations, the suspects were together in Marcelly’s apartment before Igor was found there. According to the civil investigation into the case and the complaint from the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the crime was planned, since Mário, Rafaela and Marcelly considered Igor an obstacle to the “love triangle”, that is, to the relationship that the three accused maintained between them. .
Rafaela, considered the “pivot” of the crime, would have had a relationship with Igor’s sister before the crime. When questioned, Marcelly’s defense stated that the woman reported that she was drunk and was forcibly kissed and caressed by Rafaela.
After the crime, the suspects fled and tried to hide evidence, but were later arrested.
