Rafaela Costa da Silva, widow and suspected of involvement in the death of merchant Igor Peretto, arranged to sleep together with Mario Vitorino da Silva Neto, 23 years old, brother-in-law of the victim and perpetrator of the murder, on the same day after the crime.
Igor was killed after discovering his wife’s betrayal with his sister’s husband on August 31, on the coast of São Paulo. In a conversation between the two lovers, hours before the murder, Mario allegedly told his widow that he intended to get her pregnant.
In the chat that took place on a social network, Mario, the perpetrator of the crime, said that he wanted to impregnate the wife of his friend and brother-in-law Igor, with whom he had an extramarital affair.
According to investigations by the São Paulo Civil Police, in the conversation recovered by the authorities between Rafaela and Mario and attached to the police investigation, both began exchanging messages at around 9:12 pm, hours before committing the crime.
In the dialogue, Rafaela asks Mario to take a profile photo to continue the conversation, since his wife, the victim’s sister, Marcelly Peretto, was next to her.
“Take your profile photo, the better to talk to you. Because she is on top”, she says when referring to her sister-in-law.
After some compliments made by Mario to her after a photo sent, he then sends her: “My God, I want to get you pregnant! You don’t understand that yet!”
“Trust me. If not you will regret it. I want you forever!”, he continues in the messages.
After suspicions raised by Rafaela during the conversation, about her lover’s relationship with his current wife, Igor’s sister, he assures her that he is no longer interested in Marcelly. “If I wanted that shit, I’d be with her, not you.”, he informs.
Mario then finishes: I just wanted to drink in peace, bump into you and finish making out with you, my beloved! “, he states.
To date, Mario Vitorino, Marcelly Peretto and Rafaela Costa remain in prison for planning and authorizing the merchant’s death.
The merchant’s death
Merchant Igor Peretto, brother of councilor Tiago Peretto, was stabbed to death by his own brother-in-law on August 31 after discovering that his wife, Rafaela Costa da Silva, was having an affair with his sister’s husband, Mario Vitorino da Silva Neto.
The crime took place inside the apartment of Igor’s sister, Marcelly Peretto, in Praia Grande, on the coast of São Paulo.
Subsequently, Marcelly and Rafaela Costa da Silva, the victim’s wife, were arrested for being responsible for luring Igor to the scene of the crime. According to investigations, they had been involved in a romantic relationship hours earlier inside the apartment.
Mario Vitorino, who committed the stabbings, fled from authorities after the crime, but was later arrested.
Furthermore, investigations also showed that Mario and Igor’s widow were in a motel shortly after the victim’s murder.
Igor left behind a five-year-old son, the result of his relationship with his wife involved in the homicide, Rafaela Costa.
