# ilpatrimonioItalianoèatavola: Ca ‘del Bosco winery launches a hasthag to save our quality products

It is so much a part of our life, rooted in our DNA, that perhaps we take it for granted and don’t protect it. But the great Italian food and wine heritage, in all its varied richness, is at risk due to this long period of pandemic and consequent limitations.

Maurizio Zanella, founder and president of Ca’del Bosco, one of the most beautiful wineries in Italy who in addition to producing great wines is also an extraordinary example of harmony and fusion of terroir and art, is worried.

And a little angry too. But it is that right dose of constructive anger that is needed to assert one’s reasons, which feeds a great passion and a love to be preserved.

«There has been a lot of talk about Made in Italy, but our heritage, the most important we have in Italy in addition to art and architecture – that is the food and wine of our great cuisine – is not sufficiently supported in a dramatic moment and so we risk losing a large part of it ”, explains Zanella.

«Italian cuisine (and all its products) is part of our culture, it is our pride abroad. The flaw we are suffering today is that of never having valued this treasure adequately, teaching its history in schools. What is lacking is pride, which instead manifests itself, rightly, when our nation makes itself great abroad in football or car competitions. THEItalian food and wine have always been winning: they are artistic expressions that have generated successful economies, and we should reclaim their value ».

«The world of the table is not just that of restaurants, but also includes the small honey producer, the gardener, the malga where extraordinary and unique cheeses are created, the shop that sells them: everyone should be concretely supported. We have more than twenty regional kitchens, Italy is the country with the greatest variety of products, which everyone envies us. Who else in the world has a heritage like ours? We have not been able, like the French, for example, to defend such a crucial sector. To try to voice this problem, make it understand its importance and involve self-righteous voices, I thought about the hashtag # ilpatrimonioItalianoèatavola: a cry of alarm, but also of pain for those who will not make it. We are playing part of the future, if many will not be able to reopen, to continue, what can we offer tourists tomorrow? “.

«The absolute priority remains health» continues Zanella. “But the ideal would also be to start 2021 by managing to recover the everyday life we have lost, and to present ourselves to the appointment with the next 365 days with optimism and the desire to take our personal revenge, against a bad year, in many respects view”.
An optimistic wish as Maurizio Zanella has always been, volcanic, creative, always looking for new winning projects. And with this message, # ilpatrimonioItalianoèatavola, to be disseminated as much as possible, the man at the helm of one of the symbolic companies of Made in Italy wants to start a long path of rebirth along which to pass the baton to important personalities of culture, entertainment, from different sectors but of the same philosophy: that of a proud claim of artisan value, that today needs new auterovoli voices to launch messages useful for preserving what we have and for building a better future through the social channels of the wine house.
