ILTM Exhibition of France: Greece is a protagonist in luxury tourism

Strong interest in new Greek destinations in the field of luxury tourism was identified at the 20th International Exhibition International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), which took place in Cannes, France from 6 to 9 December. The EOT service of France, as it is emphasized in a relevant announcement, participated in this year’s anniversary event with a stand of 250 sq.m. and 32 co-authors active in the specific field of tourism throughout Greece, in the framework of the strategy of the Ministry of Tourism and EOT for targeted initiatives to expand and enrich the tourist offer.

During the exhibition, more than 1,200 business meetings of representatives of Greek companies with international hosted buyers, mainly from European countries and the USA, took place at the Greek stand, which confirms the very high position of Greece in the global luxury tourism market. It is recalled that, just in November, Greece won, among other things, the award for Best International Luxury Destination International at the Oscars of the American tourism industry, Travvy Awards.
