Twitter user @abrilnuvreni brought tears to more than one user by sharing how her grandmother has handled the loss of her best friend.
According to the girl, her grandmother’s friend passed away a couple of days ago. Grandma was sad and she refused to accept that she had lost her; however, she knew that she was now in a better place. Still, two days after the woman’s death, her grandmother sent her a message, just as she did every night.
“My grandmother wrote that to her best friend two days after she passed away. I am very broken inside, ”April wrote on Twitter accompanied by a photograph of her grandmother’s phone in which she verified the message sent.
My dear friend: like every night, the farewell until tomorrow. Today, with so much pain, I have to tell you that I am going to miss you very much, but I want to say goodbye as always. Until tomorrow, happy dreams. See you forever.
The publication went viral, reaching more than 162 thousand likes and six thousand retweets. Later, April shared a screenshot in which she apparently told her grandmother what had happened with her publication and asked her to thank network users for her support. The woman kindly agreed and ended up moving locals and strangers.
On the other hand, users took advantage of the April Twitter thread to share experiences in which they also send messages to their deceased loved ones.
