Herniaborn Matteo Professione, a twenty-nine year old Milanese artist, returns with a new album which focuses on fear, understood as anxiety, in all its forms. I’m not afraid (Island Records), whose title is inspired by the famous and beautiful novel by Niccolò Ammaniti, is made up of fourteen tracks that speak to everyone, but above all speak about him. “I’m not afraid is a way to build strength”, writes on Instagram. Because fears are everywhere, it’s hard to talk about them, and it takes courage and strength, but also a lot of lucidity to recognize and face them.
