“I’m not cool, I’m not 100%”, says Carlinhos Maia about mental health

The influencer and comedian Carlinhos Maia vented this Thursday (15), and said that he will move away from social media.

The comedian, who has 26 million followers on Instagram, had his house robbed at the end of May, in Maceió, Alagoas, and explained to his followers that he was not in good health. In addition, her panic disorder worsened after this event.

“Hey guys, don’t be scared! I got sick these days. I wasn’t right in my head and heart, as you know, and not at all, but with God always. I’m going to take those days off now, I always keep coming back to give you a reason and you know me like no one else. Now, I’m going to take some time for myself because I’m not 100% ”, said the influencer via stories.

After reporting that he was not in good health, Carlinho Maia also explained how he has been dealing with the syndrome. “I have had panic disorder for many years. I don’t keep saying this directly to you and the robbery thing made it worse, it increased. So I don’t have that peace anymore.”

He ended them by making a request: “Whoever loves me will have the patience to wait for me. Money is good, but there are things that it doesn’t change, we get sick, we get sick”.

About panic disorder

According to Ministry of Health panic syndrome is a disorder characterized by sudden and intense anxiety attacks with a strong feeling of fear or discomfort, accompanied by physical symptoms.

The disease can develop from extreme stress situations, such as financial crises, fights, separations or deaths in the family, traumatic experiences in childhood or after assaults and kidnappings.
