I’m praying for Trump and his family, Biden says after former president injured at rally

US President Joe Biden said on Saturday (13) that he is praying for Donald Trump and his family after the former president was injured at a rally in Pennsylvania.

“I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. I am glad to hear that he is safe and well. I am praying for him and his family and all those who attended the rally as we await further information,” Trump said.

According to the US president, we must unite as a nation to condemn violence.

The case

Trump was removed from the stage at a rally after gunshots were heard at the scene.

Reporters at the scene reported hearing “a series of loud explosions or bangs” before Secret Service agents rushed toward him.
