Imagine Dragons announce new album for June; know more

This Monday (22), the imagine Dragons announced that your new album It's on the way. “LOOM” will be released on June 28th and its cover was shared on the band's social networks.

According to the group, pre-sales of the album are now available and it is also possible to register for pre-sales for a tour. When announcing the launch, Dan Reynolds the band's lead singer, shared a long text that talks about the construction of the album.

“Working on this album was a rollercoaster – as it always is. Some days the songs came from a place of sadness and heartache and others from joy and jubilation, loneliness, searching, wanting, anger, love”, he begins in his report.

In another excerpt, the singer mentions that the composition has always been his diary, documenting decades of his journey. “I was lucky enough to create it with my best friends in a band and have you share it with us,” he shares.

Dan then thanks his fans: “Thank you for making me feel less alone here on this planet. For singing with me around the world, reminding me that we all truly are one and we are in this together. Falling and failing and then getting up and trying again and singing about it along the way.”

After wishing the band's admirers that the days would be brighter, he turns to the art on the album's cover: “Can you see this art as it is – a sunset or a sunrise? The end of something or just the beginning? Everything looks the same to me.”

Reynolds ends his text by saying, “I love you and I’ll see you on the road soon.”

Earlier this month, the band released their latest single “Eyes Closed”, with a mysterious and enigmatic music video. Before that, the band's last release was released in August 2023 with “Children of the Sky (a Starfield song)”.

The band already has a scheduled date to return to Brazil

Despite having come to the country last year, Imagine Dragons has already been confirmed to perform at the Palco Mundo do Rock in Rio on September 14, 2024. In February and March 2023, the quartet visited São Paulo, Curitiba and Rio of January.
