Imakay celebrates 4 years with banquet by Edson Yamashita of Ryo and Saiko Izawa of Rosewood

Contemporary Asian in Itaim, the Imakay celebrates four years of opening in 2023. For the celebration, the modern house prepares a true feast made by six hands by a weight team of São Paulo gastronomy.

On Sunday night, the 16th, Luigi Pauletto chef of the house and who runs the sushi bar, shares the counter with Edson Yamashita from the nostalgic Ryo Gastronomy and with Saiko Izawa pastry chef Rosewood Sao Paulo which is after the desserts.

The celebration is complete with Fabio Ota the only Brazilian with the title of Master Sake Sommelier by the SSA (Sake Sommelier Association), which must present exclusive sake labels and suggest pairings at dinner.

On the occasion, Ryo classics, such as tuna brioche with caviar, should quell the nostalgia of the two Michelin star restaurant in Itaim, which remains closed with no plans to reopen.

Prawn ravioli with suan broth and karashina, an Asian mustard soup, and three courses of desserts, such as umeshu sorbet, are still planned among the 17 items on the menu.

The banquet costs R$790 (drinks not included) and is served from 7pm. The house, which regularly does not open on Sundays, opens its doors with 50 seats on the 16th especially for the event.
