With free entry the project created by the Sociedade Paulista de Cultura de Boteco (SPCB), the Boteco Culture Festival will occupy the gardens of the historic property where the Hospedaria dos Imigrantes do Brás operated and which currently houses one of the most frequented museums by São Paulo residents and tourists.
In line with this theme of immigration, bars will have some items on their menus that bring family heritage and diversity of origins. Present at the Festival are the Soul Bar, with grandma Juventina's croquetas, bean broth and mushroom pan (vegan option); O Kariri family, which takes its specialties from the Northeast, especially the baião-de-dois, in traditional and vegetarian versions; O Acarajé Route known for the quality of its dumplings of Afro-Brazilian origin, served on a plate with vatapá, dried shrimp and salad.
O Hilda Botequim , specialist in regional recipes, such as his lizard sandwich; O Carlinhos Restaurant , run by the Yaroussalian family, of Armenian descent, with its meat and cheese arais with zaatar and mini kafta rolls; O Oven , which has its pastrami drumsticks with grana padano; O Dr. Costa , which offers its special artisan rib sandwich; The Real Bragança Linguiçaria , led by charcuterie chef Patricia Polato, from the tenth generation of a family that produces artisanal sausages in the Italian style; O Mortadella Brazil, with its traditional mortadella sandwiches and traditional Portuguese items, including the ham sandwich and cod cake; and, finally, the Minas Gerais Consulate which presents its dishes with the flavor of Minas Gerais, such as chicken and angu pastéis with cheese.

Attractions for the whole family
In line with the migration theme, the musical program was designed to celebrate cultural diversity, with artists from different origins and different musical references.
On Saturday, at 2pm, Victoria Saavedra, a Colombian singer and songwriter based in Brazil, will take the stage, performing songs from her albums Peripécias (2022) and Remanso entre Raízes (2017). These are Latin American rhythms such as champeta, porro chocoano and cumbia, and Brazilian rhythms such as MPB and ijexá.
At 4:30 pm, a duo that is a reference in music from the North of Brazil: Felipe Cordeiro invites his father, Manoel Cordeiro, to a show with lots of guitar, tecnobrega and cumbia. Felipe is considered a pioneer in the fusion of popular Pará styles with the pop avant-garde, and has a history full of participations with big names, such as Arnaldo Antunes, Tulipa Ruiz, Foguinho and Psirico. Manoel is a musician, composer and music producer, and has recorded more than 800 albums by artists of different styles, especially those from the Amazon. In 2015, he released his first solo album Manoel Cordeiro e a Sonora Amazônia, presenting his reading of the musical genres lambada, zouk, merengue, cassicó and bachata, which made him popular in the North and Northeast.
Opening the event and interspersing the shows, DJ Jef Rodriguez, who is also an MC, DJ and music researcher, performs. Coming directly from Bahia, he presents a repertoire inspired by hip-hop, with references to afrobeat, samba and Jamaican music, in addition to Spiritual, a musical genre of resistance originating from black people enslaved in the United States, which gave the name to his latest EP released.
The second day of the festival continues with the performance of Roberta and Bando de Lá, scheduled for 2pm. Roberta Oliveira is a singer, producer and one of the biggest names in samba in São Paulo – she is the creator of several samba circles in the city, such as Samburbano, in Santa Cecilia, and Roda de Moça, in the south zone. Along with the group Bando de Lá, she has already shared the stage with big names from different musical segments, in addition to participating in the Breg's Nice block alongside Sidney Magal and Gretchen for seven years in a row. At 4:30 pm it's Siba's turn, with the participation of Alessandra Leão, both from Pernambuco. Singer and composer from Recife known for participating in the band Mestre Ambrósio, Siba performs with his quartet, traveling through Pernambuco's popular culture and showing his repertoire of the new generation of maracatu and cirandeiros. Guest Alessandra Leão is a singer, composer and percussionist, has released nine albums, of which she was nominated for awards such as the Latin Grammy, the Brazilian Music Award and the WME, and received the Grão de Música Award.
Sunday's DJ set starts at 12pm and is performed by Joss Dee, an Angolan based in Brazil who mixes genres from his homeland, such as kuduro and afro house, and elements of Brazilian music. Beatmaker and music producer, Joss has collaborated with various artists from the national and international scene. His latest release is the album Funkeiro Kudurista, which features several artists from the Rio scene. Over the two days, Master of Ceremonies Mana Bella guides the public through the festival's attractions.
For the whole family to have fun, the Fun Caravan of World Games takes its interactive activities to the Boteco Culture Festival on both days, from 12pm to 6pm. Built by hand with recyclable material, the playful games presented originate from different countries, in different eras and are considered intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO. With guidance from monitors, adults and children can learn a little about other cultures while having fun with analog games.
