According to information security company ImmuneFi, in November of this year, hackers and cryptocurrency scammers managed to obtain over $71 million.

Overall, the level of fraudulent and hacker activity in the cryptocurrency market has decreased compared to November last year. Experts suggest that the cryptosphere is becoming increasingly secure.

“Perhaps the market is becoming safer? The ecosystem has lost $1.48 billion since the beginning of the year, while during the same period last year, hackers and scammers withdrew $1.7 billion. We also note a monthly decrease in losses. In November 2024, hackers managed to steal $71 million, and in November last year this amount was $343 million,” ImmuneFi analysts report.

Projects based on the BNB Chain blockchain remain the most vulnerable – in November, 14 incidents occurred on the network, during which 46.7% of the total losses were stolen. There were 9 incidents on the Ethereum network, and the share of losses was 30%. Also, one incident each was recorded in the Solana, Polygon, Fantom, Avalanche, Arbitrum and Aptos networks.

Previously, ImmuneFi experts stated that in most cases, projects hacked by hackers permanently lose value and users.
