Sources say the flagship smartphone Oppo Find X3 will feature the first truly mature sub-screen front camera technology.
The camera will be located in the central upper part of the display, it will be used not only for taking selfies, but for recognizing users when unlocking the smartphone.
It is reported that the camera will be located in a separate small screen, which is also touch-sensitive, and there will be a solid glass panel above the screens, which will not only protect the displays, but also hide the joint between them.
According to previous leaks, the Oppo Find X3 smartphone will receive a Snapdragon 888 SoC, a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The highlight of the smartphone will be the quad camera, which will include two 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensors with conventional and ultra-wide-angle lenses. The 13-megapixel camera will provide 2x optical zoom. There will also be a 3MP macro camera, which will provide 25x zoom. Oppo Find X3 Pro will receive an OFILM lens, it will surpass all previously released smartphones in zoom capabilities. It is compared to a microscope.
Oppo previously confirmed that this “impossible surface” smartphone will be unveiled in March this year.
