France today honors its national holiday, Bastille Day, with the traditional July 14 military parade in Paris. The parade features warplanes, armored military, an impressive drone show over the Eiffel Tower and fireworks in almost every France city. France is celebrating its largest national holiday on Monday, with 7,000 people marching, either on pedestrians, equestrian, or on armored vehicles, along the Sanz Elise, the most iconic Paris Avenue. And throughout the country there are celebrations and spectacular events planned. In his established speech to the army on Sunday, French President Emmanuel Macron announced additional military costs of 6.5 billion euros for the next two years, saying that freedom in Europe is threatened today more than ever after the end of World War II.
