Imprisoned monster “scares” citizens on the streets of the world – The successful advertising campaign for sci-fi movie

We can only describe the works of the people working in the special effects departments as amazing. Especially when it comes to movies movies the level is now extremely high and the result that reaches our big or small screens is so realistic that one can be convinced that it is true.

While action is usually limited to movies and TV screens, there are some imaginary monsters that seem to have invaded our reality. In an advertising trick for her science fiction thriller Amazon Prime, «The Tomorrow War», A dangerous alien species called White Spikes was filmed being transported by truck to various cities around the world.

Tomorrow War, starring Chris Pratt, is about a group of time travelers from 2051 who have returned to today to warn humanity of a global war against the White Spikes, a deadly alien species.

The advertising campaign that ran in the summer of 2021 and finally ended in September makes the story of the film even more creepy because it put the film’s citizens and potential viewers in a world where the army is trying to control the monsters that are wreaking havoc.

From Japan to Wembley and the US the monster “terrorized” the streets

In addition to the alien chained inside the transparent glass truck in Japan, other White Spikes were captured in Hollywood. These creatures were seen with their long tentacles hanging from trucks, accompanied by “military processions”.

In Wembley, UK, another specific White Spike was observed roaming freely in a forest.

Jared Goldsmith, global action leader and marketing thriller on Amazon Prime Video, said international promotion required serious strategic planning. The strategy could be described as successful since the hype around the name of the film was definitely achieved. Several months after the appearance of White Spikes, people are still discussing it online.

Here the technicians who worked with Amazon did a great job, compared to those who built the Astro home robot.
