Xiaomi has begun distributing the stable version of the MIUI 12.5 firmware for the Xiaomi Mi 10S and Redmi K30i 5G smartphones. The Xiaomi Mi 10S smartphones is an improved and more affordable version of last year’s flagship Xiaomi Mi 10, while the latter is the cheaper variant of the Redmi K30 5G.
Xiaomi Mi 10S launched in March, the device debuted with MIUI 12 based on Android 11, so MIUI 12.5 is the first major update under the number V12.5.1.0.RGACNXM. The firmware is being distributed in stages, all smartphones should be updated in the coming days.

On the other hand, the Redmi K30i 5G came out about a year ago with MIUI 11 based on Android 10. It was updated to MIUI 12 and received the Android 11 update earlier this year. The update for this smartphone is numbered V12.5.2.0.RGICMXM and is also distributed in batches.
Xiaomi Mi 10S and Redmi K30i 5G are on sale only in China so far.
