Brazil recorded 99 deaths from Covid-19 and 12,613 cases of the disease in the last 24 hours. The data were released by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass), this Sunday (22).
In the last sending of information, 11 states and the Federal District did not notify new numbers regarding the coronavirus due to technical problems in accessing the information systems database, and therefore the updates from the previous day were kept. As a result, the moving average of cases was 14,690 and the moving average of deaths was 101. The indices consider the average of infections and deaths recorded in the last seven days.
The data allow monitoring of the pandemic indicators without possible distortions caused by possible underreporting on weekends.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, the country has 30,791,220 infections by Covid-19 and 665,627 deaths from the disease.
