Brazil recorded 239 deaths and 32,820 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to an update from the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass) carried out this Tuesday (24).
With this, the moving average of deaths is at 98. The moving average of cases reached 15,504
The indices consider the average number of infections and deaths recorded in the last seven days. The data allow monitoring of the pandemic indicators without possible distortions caused by possible underreporting on weekends.
The updates do not include new data from Acre, Amapá and Piauí due to technical problems in accessing the systems’ information base. Therefore, the same numbers as the previous day were kept.
The country has recorded 30,836,815 cases and 66,905 deaths from Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
