Besides the singer Iza, 33, who announced the end of his relationship with Yuri Lima, 29, due to a betrayal, other personalities have already come forward to vent about frustrations in love life.

The exposure of cases such as, for example, that of the singer Luisa Sonza gained considerable repercussion on national television. Preta Gil and Bruna Biancardi also spoke publicly about the betrayals they suffered from Rodrigo Godoy and Neymar, respectively.

In September 2023, singer Luís Sonza announced the end of her relationship with her then boyfriend, Chico Moedas, 27, after discovering he was cheating on her. Sonza read a letter she wrote about the matter.

“It is unbearable that betrayal, the breaking of agreements, respect, trust, care, continues to be normalized. ‘A one-off mistake’. Only those who have been betrayed know the pain that is felt, the pain that is caused and triggered, [isso] what they call a ‘one-off mistake’. Of the destroyed self-esteem, of the doubt, of the insecurity that something like that causes. Betrayal makes you invalidate yourself, makes you feel stupid, dumb, a clown, a fool. It’s a pain that’s impossible to explain”, declared the singer on national television.

The letter moved presenter Ana Maria Braga, who cried while reading it. Influencer Chico Moedas spoke out for the first time in December of last year and apologized “to anyone who felt disappointed or sad”.

Black Gil

In April 2023, Preta Gil, 49, announced the end of her marriage to Rodrigo Godoy, 35, amid cancer treatment. The artist confirmed that the couple’s separation occurred before the discovery of the personal trainer’s betrayal and that she chose to be alone so as not to be left in bad company. In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, she stated that she divorced out of “survival instinct”.

“My survival instinct made me want to separate, even though I had cancer, because it wasn’t doing me any good. And it’s sexist to think that I need to stay married to be taken care of. Why is a husband more important than a mother, father, sister, or friend? This is a trait of the patriarchy, which places such great importance on men,” she said on the subject.

Bruna Biancardi

Soccer player Neymar, 32, and influencer Bruna Biancardi, 30, started dating in April 2022 and ended their relationship in August of the same year. They spent New Year’s Eve together and got back together in January. Bruna’s pregnancy was announced in April.

However, in June 2023, influencer Fernanda Campos revealed that she went out with the player on the eve of Valentine’s Day. Neymar made a post admitting the betrayal and asked for forgiveness.

In the second half of the year, Biancardi spoke about another occasion, venting on social media. “I am aware and, once again, disappointed. Mavie, the couple’s daughter, was born in October 2023 and, the following month, the influencer revealed that the couple was no longer together.

Bella Campos

Actress Bella Campos, 25, announced the end of her relationship with funk singer MC Cabelinho after rumors of cheating in August last year. On Instagram, Bella posted a note confirming the breakup “for obvious reasons.”

“I was waiting for a public statement from MC Cabelinho, 28, about the rumors of cheating, but men, in general, are exempt from this questioning… So here we go: since we didn’t get a message from him talking about what happened, I propose to confirm here that we are no longer dating due to the obvious reasons”, he wrote.

“I do this out of respect for everyone who followed us and cared for us, I do this for everyone who has been through this and was unable to react,” he said.

Speculation about the couple’s breakup arose when rumors indicated that the singer had met with his ex-girlfriend Duda Mehdef in Belo Horizonte (MG), where he performed a show. Duda confirmed the romantic encounter on social media and stated that Cabelinho had said he was single.

Influencer Bia Michelle, 23, shared on her social media, in April 2023, the reason she ended her relationship with MC Gui, 26. She stated that she caught the funk singer leaving a motel with another person.

“I always kept quiet and was afraid. I always thought about others, and no one ever thought about me,” said Bia. “Because of all my insecurities, I started tracking his phone. I didn’t want to be telling you this, I didn’t want to influence this in any way, but that’s what led me to discover the betrayal,” she said.
