In addition to Primavera Sound, Arctic Monkeys announce shows in Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba

Arctic Monkeys announced, this Wednesday (27), shows in Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba for November.

The English were also confirmed as one of the headliners of the first edition of the Primavera Sound festival, which takes place in São Paulo, at the same time.

In Rio, the presentation will take place on November 4, at the Jeunesse Arena. In Curitiba, the show will be at Pedreira Paulo Leminski, on November 8th.

The solo shows of the tour in Brazil will feature an opening show by Interpol.

Tickets will open for sale in early May. On the 2nd and 3rd, there will be an exclusive pre-sale for Elo card customers.

To the general public, the sale will open on May 4 – at 10 am on the Eventim website, and at 11 am at the official box office.

Ticket prices in Rio de Janeiro range from R$230 to R$760, and in Curitiba they range from R$225 to R$850.

One of the greatest representatives of indie rock, the group is formed by Alex Turner (vocals and guitar), Jamie Cook (guitar and keyboards), Nick O’Malley (bass and backing vocals) and Matt Helders (drums and backing vocals).

The band formed in the English city of Sheffield has already released six studio albums. The most recent, which resulted in a visit to Brazil in 2019, was the “Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino”.
