The national film “I’m Still Here” it received three Oscar nominations this Thursday (23). In addition to the award, which is considered the most important in the film industry in the world, the feature film has already been nominated for other awards. Check it out below.
This will be the first time in history that Brazil has received an Oscar nomination in the category of Best Film . In addition to the main category, the film was also remembered in the categories of Best International Film and Best Actress with Fernanda Torres. The 2025 Oscars take place in March 2 .
To date, the film has already been celebrated and awarded at the Venice Festival where it was shown, received a 10-minute ovation and won the Best Screenplay statuette. At the beginning of the year, Fernanda Torres won the Best Actress category at the Golden Globes.

At the award that takes place on February 7, “I’m Still Here” also competes for Best Foreign Film. There, the title starring Fernanda Torres competes against “Tudo Que Imaginamos Como Luz“, “Flow”, “The Seed of the Sacred Fig “, “Kneecap” and “Emilia Pérez “, the big favorite.
GOYA
The production of Walter Salles was also nominated for Goya Prize the Spanish Oscar, as Best Ibero-American Film. The film competes against “Hold Me Strong “, from Uruguay, “El Jockey “, from Argentina, “In the Other’s Place “, from Chile, and “Memories of a Burning Body “, from Costa Rica.
It is the first time that a Brazilian film has been nominated in the category and the winners will be announced on February 8, in Granada, Spain.
Bafta Awards
At the British Oscars, the Bafta Awards, “I’m Still Here ” received a nomination in the Best Non-English Language Film category. The title starring Fernanda Torres competes against “Tudo Que Imaginamos Como Luz“, “Kneecap “, “The Seed of the Sacred Fruit” and “Emilia Pérez “, the big favorite. The award takes place on February 16th.
