In Belarus, a national e-mail was launched, each letter is paid

The Ministry of Communications and Informatization in Belarus announced the launch of a national postal electronic system.

In Belarus, a national e-mail was launched, each letter is paid

As the department explains:

This system will allow you to send registered and simple letters in electronic form, ensuring the security and confidentiality of correspondence. You can send and receive letters at any time of the day from your mobile phone or computer. “

Belpochta is responsible for the operation of the system. For the most part, this is not quite analogous to standard email services like Gmail. Each letter will be paid – regular for 11 Russian rubles, registered – 42 Russian rubles, notification of receipt of the letter – 11 Russian rubles. At the same time, it is stated that the sending of such an email is similar to a paper one, since the legal significance of sending the item is preserved.

Users need to create an e-mail box and authenticate using an electronic digital signature. If the recipient is not registered in the electronic system, Belpochta will print and deliver the letter in paper form.

You can send documents, photos, images, invoices, notifications, certificates, statements and much more. Of the restrictions:

  • the text message of the letter should not exceed 30 pages
  • no more than 3 files up to 10 MB are attached to the letter
  • attachment file types: doc, docx, xls, xlsx, pdf
