The Israeli army said, this Thursday (19), that it had killed the head of the military wing of a Palestinian group, more than 10 members of Hamas and the founder of the female branch of the Islamic group in Gaza.
“During the fighting, several agents belonging to the Hamas Najaba force, which led the brutal attack on settlements around Gaza, were eliminated – and more than ten terrorists were eliminated in a targeted attack by fighter jets,” Hagari wrote on his networks social.
“IDF warplanes, guided by Shin Bet intelligence, killed the head of the military wing of the terrorist organization ‘Popular Resistance Committees’ in Rafah, Rafat Harev Hossein Abu Halal .”
Jamila Abdullah Taha al-Shanti member of the Palestinian Legislative Council and founder of the female branch of Hamas, died in a bombing in the Gaza Strip, as reported by the CNN Portugal .
“The Legislative Council mourns the death of deputy Jamila al-Shanti, killed this morning during bombings in the Gaza Strip,” says a statement shared by the Palestinian newspaper “Filastin”, linked to the armed group.
According to the Israel Defense Forces spokesman, Daniel Hagari troops continue to attack “all the time throughout the Gaza Strip” and have destroyed hundreds of infrastructures belonging to the radical Islamic group, such as anti-tank missile launch sites, tunnel shafts, intelligence areas and headquarters.
The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that at least 30 people were killed and dozens were injured in Israeli airstrikes on Thursday morning in Rafah, in the south of the territory.
