Egyptian archaeologists have discovered 110 ancient graves in the Dakalia province near Cairo. Presumably, they all date from three different eras of the prehistoric period – Egyptologists call it the period of the zero dynasty of the pharaohs. This was reported by the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, having posted photos of the finds on the website.
Among the burials found, 68 tombs belong to the era of the civilization of Lower Egypt, 37 to the times of the Hyksos people, and five more to the period of Nakada III.
In addition to the tombs themselves, the researchers found various burial utensils inside, as well as the remains of ancient furnaces, amulets and jewelry.
Also, archaeologists have discovered several children’s burials.
