US Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adejemo will visit Paris and Brussels next week to meet with his counterparts and discuss ways to strengthen sanctions imposed on Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine, according to today’s announcement of the US Department of the Treasury.
Adejemo will also discuss additional financial aid to Ukraine that will minimize the economic consequences of the war in Ukraine and the imposition of a ceiling price on Russian oil exports, the ministry said in a statement.
In Paris, Antigiemo will meet with financial services executives and a group of academics and economists.
