In full trial! Psychologist reveals that Amber Heard has two personality disorders

The trial between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp continues to reveal information about the unloving and unhealthy relationship they had during 15 months of marriage. On April 26, forensic psychologist Shannon Curry testified that the actress suffers from borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder.

The specialist hired by Depp’s legal team mentioned that she reached her diagnosis after 12 hours of interviewing Heard. In addition, she thoroughly reviewed the mental health records of the actress. Her diagnosis and her testimony could completely change the outcome of this media trial.

Forensic psychologist Shannon Curry clarified that borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder are similar, but there are differences between them:

Borderline personality is a disease of instability, driven by an underlying fear of abandonment. People with the disorder will make desperate attempts to prevent that from happening.

Histrionic personality disorder is associated with drama and superficiality and the need to be the center of attention.

Curry also noted that borderline personality disorder “appears to be a predictive factor for women who engage in partner violence.”

Finally, Curry testified that Heard is exaggerating the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder and that there is really no evidence that she suffers from this condition after her relationship with Depp, as she has alleged on multiple occasions.

With this testimony, the actor’s team hopes that their arguments will be strengthened in which they affirm that Heard was the aggressor in the relationship. As for Curry, she will be questioned by Heard’s lawyers in the coming days.
