In Mexico there is the Tequila Volcano, and at its feet a unique and precious bottle is born

Almost three thousand meters, surrounded by blue agave plantations. Tequila Volcano, Mexicoreally exists: it is located in the Jalisc lowlands, and it does not only offer a beautiful view. Here, thanks to an ecosystem and a special terrain (made fertile and rich in iron and basalt by volcanic ash), the Gallardo family has been running a farm for over 250 years its distillery, NOM 1523, located right at the foot of the volcano.

Today, thanks also to the collaboration with the savoir-faire of the leading company in the Luxury Wine & Spirits industry Moët Hennessy, Volcano of my Earth – brand born in 2017 – has the ambition to create the best tequila in the world. It does so by carrying forward the long local tradition, mixed with the richness of the Jalisco terroir and the distinctive vision of authentic tequila craftsmanship.

The result, today, is White Tahona, a new product without compromises, without the use of additives or added sugars, a perfect blend produced exclusively in its own distillery. Inspired by the white and silky smoke that covers a volcano after an eruption, Blanco Tahona presents itself as a crisp, herbaceous and subtly sweet distillate which integrates perfectly with the Prestige collection by Volcán de mi Tierra.

A product that harks back to ancient local processes, bringing them to their maximum expression, as explained Marcelino Lucke, Master Tequila Maker of Volcán de mi Tierra: «To produce Blanco Tahona, we press our agaves using the historic two-ton volcanic stone wheel (the tahona), faithful to the ancient way of making tequila».

Presented in an exclusive national preview at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo during Como Cocktail Week and at Langosteria Paraggi in Portofino in early July, BT White Tahona by Volcan de mi Tierra will be available throughout Italy during the summer at the best cocktail bars, hotels, restaurants and clubs, as well as online on the main spirits e-commerce platforms.
