After the evocative setting of Palais Brongniart in Paris, it was the atmosphere of Allianz Mico, the architectural center of one of the most futuristic districts of Milan, which acted as the setting for Calzedomania, the signed event Calzedonia dedicated to tights.
Now in its second edition, the show was preceded by Legs Casting, an initiative open to the public created to select the legs destined to become the protagonists of the show. And this is how the evening came to life, an immersive experience created again this year by Villa EugenieEtienne Russo’s creative agency, where the protagonists were some of the most representative models from the latest collections.
Sheer tights combined with opaque or sequined culottes, fishnet tights with geometric, floral or animalier motifs and the new trend of super-shiny. Also destined to become an object of desire are the Exclusive Edition tights, created by Calzedonia for the event, available in selected stores and online, with transparencies and enveloping bands embellished with brilliant decorations.
Many guests were present, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Toni Garrn, Ashley Graham, Leighton Meester and Suki Waterhouse, who attended the great animated show first from Leg Runway, which saw the women selected by Calzedonia during the casting parade, but also the shows of exceptional international talents such as the choreographies of Kevin Vives and the “mirror ball performer” Louise Kelly who won over with his dances around mirrored spheres with a disco dance effect. The show was exhilarating Camille Tremblayexpert in performances on original platforms, ending with the histrionic visions of the sculpture-effect costumes of the artistic and imaginative costume designer Sasha Frolova. The hair traction performances of pole dancer Martina Storti and the acrobatic and shiny dances of performer Lea Toran Jenner were of great impact.
