According to the police, the robber was an employee of a cryptocurrency exchange point working in one of the office complexes on Presnenskaya embankment. The man was a colleague of the owner of the stolen digital assets, clarified the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The cryptocurrency was transferred from a working laptop belonging to the victim to two accounts. The security forces believe that these addresses are controlled by the detainee. After the detention, the man is under the subscription of the loss of departure and proper behavior. Law enforcement agencies opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft on an especially large scale.”
Earlier in the Irkutsk region of Russia, police officers and the Russian Guard detained four suspects of the theft of mining equipment. The cost of devices is estimated at more than 5 million rubles.
