With tears in their eyes and despair painted on their faces, relatives of missing persons rush to the hospitals of Peshawar in Pakistan looking for their own people, just one day after suicide bombing at a mosque in a heavily guarded area of the city.
Result of murder explosion at least 100 people, mainly police officers, were to lose their lives.
The attack, in the Police Lines district, was the deadliest in a decade in this city in the north-west of the country, near the border with Afghanistan, and came amid escalating violence against police officers. So far there has been no claim of responsibility.
“My son, my child,” an elderly woman shouted next to an ambulance carrying coffins, while paramedics carried injured people on stretchers to a hospital emergency unit.
