The first concerns the area of ​​327 acres in Karteros, Heraklion, Crete, which opened the race at the level of the highest first offer price, while the second is the building in Syggrou, which previously housed the ASTY headquarters of the Paraskevaidis family.

With just 100 euros more than the starting price and more specifically at 6,584,200 euros “locked” the amount of the tender for the property in Karteros, which has unobstructed views of the Cretan Sea and N. Kazantzakis airport.

Although this area has some disadvantages, according to the assessment report, such as the occasional stench and noise pollution due to its proximity to municipal facilities, where garbage is collected for recycling, the airport and the National Road, These factors, however, did not stand in the way of the new owner, who saw prospects for the development of this area.

Besides, in the past, a study had been prepared for the development of a shopping center in it, a plan that is considered as the best way of exploiting the property.

Titles finally fell for ASTY, the arm of tourism activities in Greece of the Cypriot Paraskevaidis family as it passed into new hands the office building in Syggrou, which once housed its headquarters.

We remind you that for several decades the ownership and management of ASTY was one of the most famous hotels in Athens, Athens Ledra.

The April 6 auction concerned a high-rise office building at 4 Pyrras Street in Agios Sostis in Neos Kosmos opposite the former Ledra Athens, which is now in a state of disrepair due to being closed and abandoned in recent years.

The amount of the award closed at 1,600,200 euros, ie 200,000 euros more, which indicates that there was interest in acquiring it.

We remind you that this is an office and shop building, with a total area of ​​1,419.33 sq.m., which has been constructed on a single plot, even and buildable, with a total area of ​​383.40 sq.m., which essentially came from the merger of two adjacent plots.

The specific building consists of two basements, ground floor, five floors and a roof, while on the ground floor there are four shops, each of which has an independent entrance from Pyrras Street.

Finally, on the other hand, most of the properties that came under the hammer yesterday, such as the luxury house in Ekali, which belonged to Greenview Properties, a company, which seems to be the continuation of an older company, were left unclaimed. which in the past was associated with the brothers Sakis and Savva Chatziioannou of the clothing chain Sprider Stores as well as a significant number of industrial facilities.
