In new hands the villa of Dimitris Kontominas in Hydra with a price of 2.761 million euros

A battle was fought between the interested buyers, who claimed the luxurious residence of Dimitris Kontominas in a privileged position in Hydra in the electronic auction which was completed a while ago. The villa finally passed into new hands with the amount of the award closing at 2.761 million euros, increased by about 710,000 euros compared to the starting price, which was set at 2,055,000. The hammer for the specific property hit normally today at 10 in the morning, as it was planned from the beginning, as the attempt of the daughter of the deceased businessman, Maria, to suspend, even at the last minute, the process finally fell into a vacuum. It should be noted that Maria Kontomina filed precautionary measures before the court, which were, however, rejected.

Recently, assets of Dimitris Kontominas, who during his long career had built an enviable portfolio of businesses and real estate have been found in the eye of the storm, most recently the auction of this villa in Hydra, an island which the well-known businessman visited quite often as he held a special place in his heart. After all, it is no coincidence that Hydra was chosen to carry out the procession when it passed away last March.

The villa of three levels in the port of Hydra

The auction, which was hastened by Eurobank, was directed against the company Trans-European Hellenic Investment Company, which was established in 1980 and to which the said house belonged. It is a house, which is located on a hill and “sees” the port of Hydra as it is located above the School of Naval Trials.

According to the assessment report, this property consists of a plot of 363.14 sq.m., on which a luxury house has been erected, which is developed on three levels and includes six main rooms and ancillary areas. As it is pointed out, the villa is luxuriously reconstructed, has a total area of ​​453.21 sq.m. while it has an unobstructed view to the port of Hydra and presents easy pedestrian access. On the first level, an area of ​​20.20 sq.m. there is a water tank. The second level, which has been expanded arbitrarily, has a final area of ​​main use of 220.22 sq.m. and consists of a living room by the courtyard, a large kitchen area, utility room, hallway, bathroom and four master bedrooms with vestibule as well as a large covered outdoor hallway.

It should be noted that this level for a large part does not have natural lighting due to the steep slope of the ground. The third level, with an area of ​​227.74 sq.m., is overcrowded and consists of a living room, a dining room, a master bedroom with a dressing room and a bathroom, two additional auxiliary rooms for hostels, a small storage room and an internal staircase leading to the lower floor. It has wood floors, external wood frames, kitchen cabinets and bathrooms of luxury construction while for heating and cooling has been installed central air conditioning. The external autopsy revealed that at least externally, the house is in excellent maintenance.
