In Paris, Galeries Lafayette presents new options in its gourmet space

the emblematic Galeries Lafayette in Paris , has just introduced new gastronomic options in its gourmet space. The first floor of the “Mainson & Gourmet” gained new establishments led by chefs who have stood out in the French capital.

With decor that refers to the charm of traditional French brasseries, the nouvelle tables, as the new spaces are called, range from street food from Latin recipes, through Asian, Mediterranean, North American and French cuisine. There are different options that are completed with a new bar with a wine list signed by renowned sommeliers.

In addition to the nouvelles tables, two names from the Parisian gastronomic scene get pop-up at Lafayette Gourmet. Until November 3, Jeffrey Cagnes , a member of the new generation of haute confectionery, will be on site. From Sicily to Morocco, the chef revisits iconic pastries with generosity and originality. Among his most awarded creations, lemon pie decorated with lemon cream, olive oil and basil.

From November 3 to January 3, 2023, the Cinq Sens Pari s arrives at the location. The bakery founded by the chef Nicolas Paciello and your partner William Assouline will offer a sensory experience featuring three desserts. They are: chocolate praline and pecan pie and a gourmet version of Mont-Blanc with currant.

Starving Club

The owner of a star in the Michelin Guide, the Parisian chef Thibaut Spiwack opened its first Starving Club restaurant in spring 2022. Dedicated to the Yora (also known as Nahua) indigenous tribe, this space is inspired by Peruvian cultures and traditions.
