In Profit #46: Rica Benozzati gained recognition after Queer Eye, on Netflix

Anyone who has watched Queer Eye Brasil, on Netflix, certainly knows Rica Benozzati.

The guest of the #46 episode of No Lucro works as a stylist and content creator in São Paulo and gained even more recognition by presenting the streaming reality.

In the episodes, he changes the lives of normal people with style and beauty transformations. But it wasn’t just the lives of the participants that the program transformed. His too.

Born in Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo, he lived in Americana and Piracicaba before moving permanently to the capital of São Paulo.

He even took the entrance exam for the Faculty of Environmental Management, but decided to follow his vocation and studied Fashion. Right off the bat, she landed a job as a styling assistant to a consultant earning just R$500 a month.

“I never let opportunities pass me by. Everything that appeared, I always took it”, tells Rica to the presenter Leandro Munhós.

From “job” to “job”, the stylist, who is now also a content creator, climbed the stairs of his career and reached places he had never thought of, such as Netflix. With the visibility, Rica confesses that she ended up getting jobs with the biggest fees of her life.

Fashion is not about renewing your wardrobe or spending money you don’t have on your personal image. It builds self-esteem

Money is in fashion

When asked about the possibility of participating in Big Brother Brasil, as well as his reality partner Fred Nicácio, Rica completely ruled it out.

However, he said that if his friend wins the award, the first tip he will give is to hire a financial advisor, just like him.

Growing up in a family environment where, from his point of view, poverty and suffering were valued, it was a challenge for Rica to build his heritage: “There was so much anxiety about selling lunch to buy dinner, that being able to organize myself was a luxury. ”.

Gradually, dodging poorly paid and famous jobs that did not pay for services, he managed to stabilize and even commit one or another financial madness.

Now, the goal is to grow even more and dress celebrities like Beyoncé or Zendaya.
