The president of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Minister Luiz Fux, sent a letter to the Civil House expressing himself “positively” to the interest of the Judiciary in being included in the general review, with the readjustment of 5% to federal servants to employees of the Federal Government. Judiciary.
“The fiscal impact of a 5% linear adjustment in the Judiciary would be R$ 827.9 million in 2022, starting in July”, he said.
According to the document, the biggest impact of the readjustment is in the Labor Court, with R$ 326 million. In the Federal Court, expenses would be increased by R$ 279 million, while the Electoral Court would suffer an impact of R$ 121 million.
According to the president of the STF, “the implementation of the recomposition will require measures by the Justice bodies, which will need to promote the reallocation of expenses to enable the necessary resources and guarantee the fulfillment of the Constitutional Amendments”.
Despite saying he is against any salary increase for civil servants in 2022, the Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes, has already classified the linear adjustment of 5% as “the best solution”, since President Jair Bolsonaro does not want to give up serving demand, especially the career of police officers.
Represented by unions, the class of public servants, on the other hand, assesses the 5% readjustment as insufficient.
