The bulletin of the National Petroleum Agency (ANP), released this Friday (28), shows that regular gasoline has already reached R$ 8 in Rio de Janeiro. The ANP researched more than 290 service stations in the state, and in the municipality of Angra dos Reis, the agency found that a service station already charges R$8,029. The survey takes into account the week of January 23 to 29.
This value is 20% higher than the average price of fuel in Brazil, which, according to the Agency, was R$ 6.65 this week. Rio de Janeiro is the state with the highest average value of a liter of gasoline, which is R$ 7.19. The minimum price registered in the state was R$ 6.67. Amapá registers the lowest fuel price, with R$ 5.90 per liter.
According to the ANP survey, in the last week, none of the country’s main fuels derived from oil had large fluctuations in average price. Cooking gas had a slight drop, from R$122.53 last week to R$122.44 this week. CNG, on the other hand, had a small increase, costing R$ 4.48 this week, compared to R$ 4.45 found last week.
Diesel oil, used mainly in buses and trucks, remained at the same R$ 5.58 found in the last week. Ethanol, which had a significant increase in the last year, also registered a subtle drop, going from R$ 5.05 last week to R$ 5.00 this week.
