In Rome finally and not in Oman the talks on the Iranian nuclear program

The second round of Iran’s nuclear program talks between Washington and Tehran, scheduled for Saturday, will eventually take place in Rome and not in Oman, as previously announced, Iranian state television broadcast today. The site of the forthcoming talks has now been shifted twice – from Rome to the Sultanate again in Rome. The Axios news website was the first to mention the last change in the talk of talks. “The second round of negotiations (…) will take place in Rome (and) Oman’s Foreign Ministry will again host discussions,” state television said. The news was confirmed by a spokesman for the Italian Foreign Ministry. On Monday night, the Iranian Foreign Ministry, citing the Iranian IRNA News Agency, said these talks would take place in Muskat, the capital of Oman.
