The German automotive giant BMW announced the upcoming launch of a special anniversary series of cars in Russia.
On May 24, 2022, the BMW M Sports Division turns 50 years old. In honor of this event, BMW M 50 Years Special Edition cars will be presented in Russia.
BMW M 50 Years Special Edition cars will roll off the assembly line in March 2022. Anniversary editions will only be available for a range of BMW M vehicles, but also for all new BMW 8 Series models.
The BMW M 50 Years Special Edition features the classic BMW Motorsport emblem on the bonnet, tailgate and wheel hub caps. The legendary BMW Motorsport logo with red, blue and purple half rings first appeared on a BMW sports car in 1973.
Cars of a special series will also receive advanced equipment. Depending on the model, it will include options such as BMW Service Inclusive 5/100, Driving Assistant Professional, M Shadow Line exterior design with extended trim, M Shadow Line headlights and more.
All models in the BMW M 50 Years Special Edition, with the exception of the BMW M240i xDrive Coupe, are available in dozens of BMW Individual paint finishes, including historical BMW M colors Dakar Yellow, Fire Orange, Daytona Violet, Macao Blue, Imola Red, Frozen Marina Bay Blue and many more.
