The Technodinamika holding, which is part of the state corporation Rostec, has released a new means of protection against aggressive animals called Pyrodefender. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that it allows you to scare away the beast without harming it.
Pyrodefender is a relatively compact device, made in the form of a pistol grip with a fuse and a battery indicator. It consists of two batteries and two cartridges – light and noise and signal. When the trigger is pressed, the cartridge fires, after which a light flash and a sound clap of up to 140 dB are formed, driving the animal away. In this case, no harm is done to him.
Igor Nasenkov, General Director of the Technodinamika holding, noted that there are now more than half a million stray dogs in Russia. Their development helps to effectively stop the manifestation of aggression on the part of animals. Pyrodefender is already on sale at a price of 4,500 rubles, you can buy it in weapons stores and on OZON. It does not require a license or permission, as the device is not a weapon.
The new gadget has replenished the line of protective equipment developed by the Research Institute of Applied Chemistry and is a continuation of the well-proven Antidog device. Pyrodefender is compatible with Anti-Dog cartridges, but at the same time it has a battery charge indicator, a fuse against accidental “shot” and weighs only 95 grams.
