Asked if he plans to restrict the use of VPN services to access social networks Instagram and Facebook (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), Alexander Khinshtein said: “I don’t know about such initiatives. We didn’t work on them.”
However, last week it became known that about 20 popular VPN services have already been blocked in Russia, while Roskomnadzor intends to continue this work.
