In Spain, cybercriminals stole a cryptomat

Police in Barcelona, ​​Spain, reported that a cryptomat machine installed in a store was abducted during the raid.

The police clarified that the theft took place on Friday at three o’clock in the morning on Beethoven Street. The area is home to the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) subsidiary. According to local media outlets, GBTC declined to comment, police also did not confirm the exact location of the robbery and did not provide additional information on the case, so as not to interfere with the investigation.

An unverified video that has appeared on the Internet shows how an SUV crashed into a shop window. After that, several hooded men from another car dismantled the cryptomat, loaded his car and fled the scene.
