Sony plans to soon make available to users a new paid subscription to PlayStation Plus. In different regions, it will debut on different dates, and in Russia the launch has not yet been officially confirmed. Nevertheless, Russian users now have hope.
Recall that in March, Sony suspended the PlayStation Store in Russia, stopped selling consoles, gamepads, accessories and games.
However, according to the thematic resource “Championship”, in Russia Sony will introduce a new PlayStation Plus service for Russian users on June 22 (simultaneously with Europe).
The first subscription option is PS Plus Essential (in Russia – “PS Plus Basic”). There are three free games per month (one for PS5 and two for PS4), access to online mode in paid games, additional discounts, cloud saves and the PS Plus Collection (19 games). Prices are expected to be:
- 1 month – 529 rubles;
- 3 months – 1399 rubles;
- 12 months – 3299 rubles.
The second option is PS Plus Extra (in Russia – “PS Plus Extra”). In this case, users receive all PS Plus Essential bonuses, as well as access to a catalog of several hundred PS4 and PS5 games. Expected prices:
- 1 month – 729 rubles;
- 3 months – 2139 rubles;
- 12 months – 5299 rubles.
The third option is PS Plus Deluxe (the name for Russia is “PS Plus Lux”). Members receive all the Essential and Extra bonuses, as well as free trials of new titles and a catalog of classic games from PS1, PS2 and PSP. Prices are expected to be:
- 1 month – 805 rubles;
- 3 months – 2599 rubles;
- 12 months – 6049 rubles.
