The first preview of “Eddington” the new movie of Ari Aster (“Hereditary” and “Midsommar”), was released on Monday (14). The film is in the official selection of Cannes Festival and competes for the Golden Palm.
In the plot, An impasse between the sheriff of a small town and the mayor triggers a confusion while a couple gets stuck in the scene after the government declares a pandemic.
The production is starring Austin Butler (“Elvis”), Emma Stone (“La la land”), Joaquin Phoenix (“Joker”), Luke Grimes (“Yellowstone”) and Pedro Pascal (“The Last of Us”).
The first exhibition of “Eddington” will be at the Cannes Festival, which takes place between May 13 and 24. The film makes up the official selection of the event and competes with the new movie by Kleber Mendonça Filho, “The Secret Agent”, for the maximum award.
