The management of the company D-Port, the management company of the Container Station of the port of Piraeus on behalf of SEP SA, had meetings with all three unions that are active in piers II and III. (subsidiary of COSCO Shipping Ports Limited).

The company submitted its detailed plan for signing a collective labor agreement, while May will be the final month of decisions.

The Collective Bargaining Agreement will have a start date of 1/6/2022 and a duration of 3 years, while the increases will be valid from 1/1/2022. According to D-port:

• Wednesday 4/5: Completion of the negotiation cycle with all employee representatives

• Friday 6/5: Sending the final text of the Collective Bargaining Agreement by the companies to all the representatives of the employees, for which you will have the latest information

• 10 Days after the Signing of the New BCC: Completion of the recalculation of salaries from January to April (incl. Easter Gift) with the new salaries and payment of the additional money to everyone.

In the official proposal of the company that was submitted a while ago, in the financial part the increases range to 6% -10%, as it was announced last week.

Facilities

Agreed and Secured by the previous Collective Bargaining Agreement

The existing benefits of the companies that are:

a) Private Health Insurance up to € 10,000 per year in hospitals (Metropolitan, Health and Mother)
b) Private Occupational Accident Insurance
c) Sandwiches in each shift with the possibility of upgrading their quality
d) Feeding Orders (5 € per productive wage)
e) Gift voucher € 200 every Christmas

Specialty changes and Employee upgrades

From the day of the signing of the new BCC, at least 50 employees were upgraded from Shoes to Lassadori and from Lassadori to Koumanda.

Conversion of 100 contracts into full-time

Conversion of 100 contracts from rotation of employment to full each year.

Education & Training Center

Continuing education in all specialties was agreed upon with improved training material in proposals from the employees’ representatives.

Payment of a salary as an extra benefit to the colleagues who attend the seminar with retroactive effect from 1/1/2022.

We came to an agreement with the company SEP and rented space in the port where part of the training of young workers will be carried out as well as workers with specialty shoes that will be upgraded to oil slicks.

Cold Forms

It was agreed to provide and use the Cold Form by all workers for use when the temperature drops below 5 degrees Celsius and will be replaced when there is a disaster.

Closed Clark

It was agreed to replace the existing ones with 4 new closed new clerks. Their licensing has been completed by the competent Ministries (the delay was due to lack of staff of the Ministries due to Covid), the radios have been installed and in the next few days the installation of VMTs will be completed.

Refresh Lines

Agreed – We are constantly updated with the company SEP in order to renew the lines more often in order to facilitate our work.

Kamaraki in GF

Agreed – The construction company ZPMC has completed its study for the construction and installation of a special area where workers in the dock can leave their personal belongings on the crane bridges. We will inform you about the construction and installation schedule in the coming weeks.

Troubleshooting machines

A special electronic platform has been created in order to record the faults for each machine for the purpose of immediate control and immediate repair of each fault.

CB – Wireless in Lassador

We are already in the stage of controlling the radios that will be purchased by the companies in order for the lasador (2nd in the working group) to use wireless in its work. In a few days the required control will be completed and the companies will proceed to the purchase of the required radios.
