In an interview with CNN , Pedro Brites, Professor of International Relations at Getúlio Vargas Foundation evaluates that there is a “Cautious optimism” regarding ceasefire negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
The expert explains that although there are signs that Russia can accept an agreement, this would not be unconditional.
“There are some issues that Russia will put in play to eventually accept this agreement or not,” he says.
