In the Moscow region, smart cameras will detect dangerous behavior of schoolchildren

As an experiment, the administration of the Moscow region intends to establish a system of “smart” video surveillance of the behavior of students and the technical condition of the infrastructure in one of the schools in the Moscow region. For the implementation of the project, the company “For the most dear ones. Obninsk ”with partners who have developed a predictive security system. This was reported by Vedomosti.

The system uses a neural network and cameras that can recognize atypical, suspicious or even dangerous behavior of a child. If this behavior is noticed by the system, the teacher or other school employee is immediately alerted. The neural network can also determine the psychoemotional state of a student by analyzing his behavior, assessments and emotions. If a child has a bad mood for three days in a row, the school psychologist will receive a notification, who will have to pay attention to him.

In addition to the psycho-emotional state, the system will monitor the state of communications in the room, receiving data from sensors, and inform about threats to the health of children. In addition, it can provide a summary of class attendance.

Such a system of “smart” video surveillance is already operating in the Obninsk Lyceum “Derzhava”. Depending on the functionality, it can cost from 500 thousand to 6.5 million rubles. The project is funded within the framework of several government programs at once. If the experiment is successful, then such systems will be installed in other schools in the Moscow region.
