Administrators of groups and public pages will be able to receive money for advertising in their videos – at the first stage, communities are involved in testing.
To join the testing, the authors of the videos need to fill out a questionnaire in the new section “VKontakte monetization”. Communities that publish original videos on VKontakte and participate in an affiliate program (which allows administrators to receive income from ad views by subscribers) can apply.
As noted by the developers, videos can relate to any topic or genre, but without violating the rules of VKontakte. By the way, the section “VKontakte monetization” now contains all the ways to make money on the social network and the possible level of payments.
